Exporting Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2016

Hey guys,

First time having to export Windows Live Mail to any version of Outlook...

My question is... Has anyone here ever successfully converted Windows Live Mail EML/EMLX files to Outlook PST files with or without software and the export work?

I have looked around and looked at a bunch of software, but would rather get trusted advice from a trusted source...  

Footnote: Lots of people are still using Windows Live Mail and mistaking it for Outlook... This was a newbie mistake on my part, but she also had Office 2003 that exported fine, but without any data in the files...lol
