I deleted a file for automatic detection settings for the internet

I am not sure what file it was but i got a notification that says cannot connect to system event notification service so i researched it and came across" netsh winsock reset " i tried it the command was successful but the problem still is there so i checked the sens (system event notification service)service that looks good and the same with the sens registry key so i went into internet options-lan settings for the automatic detection settings box and the box is unchecked but when i check the box then click ok i the box stays and acts like the command for the ok button is broken.

Things ive tried

1. Admin command prompt "netsh winsock reset"
2. Checked system event notification service
3. Complete internet repair program
4. Chkdsk /f/r
5. Sfc /scannow

I used tweaking.com AIO tool and check marked only

reset service permissions
repair internet explorer
repair host file
repair network
repair proxy settings

Restarted pc and the issue is fixed
